We believe good dental care shouldn't come with surprises. Find a full breakdown of our prices below - including NHS band charges and our private treatment fees - and if you have any questions, our friendly St Margarets team is always happy to talk things through.

We're a mixed NHS and private practice, and we believe in keeping things honest. Our fees are listed openly below, so you can see exactly what to expect before booking - no calls to ask for quotes, no surprises on the day, no upselling.
Whatever treatment you're considering, you'll always receive:

As a mixed NHS and private practice, we offer both options for our patients across St Margarets and Twickenham. NHS dentistry follows national NHS bands with set prices for routine care, and is free for children under 18 in full-time education and for patients who meet certain criteria.
Private treatment opens up a wider range of options - including cosmetic treatments like whitening, Invisalign and veneers, as well as some restorative work. Private appointments tend to allow more time for unhurried conversation, and you'll find our private prices among the more affordable in the TW1 area. We're currently accepting new NHS and private patients across the practice.
NHS dental treatment in England is divided into three bands, each covering a different level of treatment. You only pay one band charge per course of treatment - so if you need several treatments from different bands, you'll pay for the highest band only.
Some patients are entitled to free NHS dental treatment - including children under 18 in full-time education, people on certain qualifying benefits, and pregnant or recently given birth patients. Just let our reception team know when you book and they'll help confirm whether you qualify.

Everything in Bands 1 and 2, plus:
Urgent NHS dental appointments cover emergency care including temporary fillings, dealing with knocked-out teeth, draining abscesses, refixing crowns or bridges, and one urgent filling. Further treatment may be needed afterwards, which may carry additional costs.
If you need additional NHS treatment within 2 months of your original treatment, you won't pay again if it's within the same band or a lower band. If you need further treatment in a higher band, you'll pay the difference up to the higher band fee.
Our private treatment prices are listed below for full transparency. Final costs for any treatment will always be confirmed in a written treatment plan before treatment begins.

For more complex or personalised treatment - like smile makeovers, advanced implant cases or full-mouth rehabilitation - final pricing varies based on your specific case and the treatment plan we put together for you. We'll always provide a written, itemised treatment plan after your consultation so you know exactly what you're committing to.
If you can't see a treatment listed or you'd like to talk through your options before booking, just give us a call on 020 8744 9922 or visit our contact page.

Are you NHS or private?
We're a mixed NHS and private practice, and we're currently accepting new patients in both. NHS care is available for routine general dentistry (with set NHS band prices), while private care opens up a wider range of treatment options - including cosmetic work, Invisalign and facial aesthetics.
Who qualifies for free NHS dental treatment?
You may qualify for free NHS dental treatment if you're under 18 (or under 19 and in full-time education), pregnant or have had a baby in the last 12 months, receiving certain qualifying benefits, or named on a valid HC2 certificate. Our reception team can help check your eligibility when you book.
Do you offer finance or payment plans?
We don't currently offer finance plans, but our prices are designed to be fair and competitive across the Twickenham area. For larger treatments like smile makeovers or full implant treatment, your dentist can talk through ways to phase treatment over time so the cost is spread naturally across stages.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. Honest, transparent pricing is one of our core promises. You'll always receive a clear, written treatment plan with everything itemised before any treatment begins - so there are no surprises on the day or when the bill arrives.
What's included in the £30 new patient exam?
Your new patient exam includes a full examination of your teeth, gums, soft tissues and bite, X-rays if needed, plus a relaxed chat about your dental history, any current concerns, and your goals for your dental care going forward. For existing patients, X-rays are charged separately from £10.
What if I need treatment beyond what's listed?
For more complex or personalised treatment, your dentist will provide a detailed written treatment plan after your consultation, with every step itemised and priced. There's never any pressure to commit on the day - you'll have time to consider everything and ask any questions before deciding.
Do you accept patients from outside St Margarets?
Yes, we welcome patients from across the TW1 postcode and the wider Richmond upon Thames borough - including East Twickenham, Isleworth, Whitton and Strawberry Hill. We're a short walk from St Margarets train station with parking right outside.
Our friendly Twickenham team is always happy to talk through pricing, options and what would suit your budget. Whatever you're considering - NHS or private - we're here to help.
